About the Project
To celebrate Chinese cultural heritage by creating an engaging, hands-on LEGO® set that fuses mechanical play with performance. The goal is to provide users—especially children—with a new way to explore cultural traditions through physical interaction, movement, and storytelling.
Mechanical Glove Puppet
Celebrate tradition through motion and play with the LEGO® Dancing Lion Glove Puppet! Inspired by the vibrant energy of Chinese lion dancing, this mechanical glove lets builders create and perform their own mini lion dance right from their hand. Carefully crafted using LEGO bricks, the lion’s expressive head features movable parts—allowing its mouth to open and close as the wearer moves their fingers inside the puppet.
Target Audience
Designed for ages 8+, this set introduces young builders to Chinese cultural traditions through creativity and physical expression. It's perfect for role-play, performance, or simply sharing cultural stories with family and friends.
Context & Playing Experience
